Lena @ The Lake

There’s something magical about shooting in natural sunlight, especially near a shimmering lake. Recently, I had the chance to photograph Lena at the lake on a bright, sunny day. With the Sony A7RIII and Rokinon 35mm f/1.4 lens in hand, we aimed to capture the radiance of Lena as she enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beauty of the lake. The goal was to create a collection of images that celebrated the warmth and freedom of a sunny day outdoors.

In the heart of Charlotte, a studio apartment transformed into a canvas for a photographic ballet, where light, shadow, and personality converged to tell a story. The protagonist of this visual narrative was Lena, a figure of grace and strength, whose essence we sought to capture through the lens of a Sony A7RIV, complemented by the precision of a Sigma Art 24-35mm f/2 lens. Herein lies the tale of how these moments were immortalized, blending technique with artistry.
